Christmas everyone! Hopefully none of you are at work at this point.
Things are winding down here at the kencho, and everything will be shut
down from the 29th to the 3rd. Have a great winter vacation, and see
you all at the Mid-year Conference (22nd and 23rd January, in Sendai).

and it's winter... events coming up in the next couple of weeks
include the Mid-year Conference presenters' meeting (held on the 15th),
lots of block meetings, the Tohoku Expo (on the 12th) and hopefully the
start of my school visits. I will be visiting 1st year SHS ALTs to
observe and talk about their classes and teaching.
The visits are really late this year, due to some bureaucratic problems we have been having. I apologise for the delay, and look forward to seeing as many people as possible before the winter break.
